((I shall make a signautre at school )) Ryan walked into the Hogs Head with a smirk on his face. He'd come through the back door trying to avoid the early morning sunlight. Him and the sun didn't get along very well to say the least due to his condition. Placing his large and heavy coat on a hanger in the back room, he went up front and unlocked the door to allow patrons in and started cleaning up the dusty bar. He knew that it would only get dirty again, but since it was the reopening of the shop and inn, he figured he'd make it a little tidy. Leaning against the counter, he smoothed out his skinny jeans and waited for someone to come in...

Raine was a night owl, but also had a bad case of insomnia. She had been up all night and just had to tell herself that she wasn't going to get any sleep. Thankfully though, when she looked in the mirror she looked as if she had gotten all the sleep she needed. She had learned to deal with lack of sleep throughout her years at the University, so after taking a quick shower she felt refreshed and energized for the day ahead of her.
After changing into a short jean skirt and a black and white striped top, Raine did a quick straightening spell on her hair and tip toed out of her dorm. It was early, and all the other students were getting as much sleep as possible.
Avoiding her professors, Raine managed to get off of the school grounds and apparate herself into Hogsmeade. Once she got there, she knew exactly where she wanted to go.. The Hog's Head. When she opened the door, she was surprised to find it empty, that is except for the bartender who was partially hidden in a shadow. That didn't matter though, Raine knew exactly who it was. "Well hello Ryan." She said in a low voice. [/blockquote]

Ryan had of course, kept to the shadows as normal. They suited him and it was easy in the dimly lit area. He had been dozing slightly when he heard the door open and his eyes snapped up. He smirked slightly seeing one of the students from the school. "Little late for you to be out and about isn't it Raine?" He asked, eyebrow raised a bit coming out from behind the counter.
His eyes wandered over the girl. She was gorgous as always. Though a few years younger than him, he didn't have a problem doing certian... things, with her. He found her to be fun really.

Walking up to bar, Raine leaned onto the counter. "It's never too late for me gorgeous." She said with a smirk as she winked at him. Sliding herself into one of the barstools, Raine absently ran a hand through her hair as her eyes scanned across Ryan. She was definitely attracted to him, which she had shown him on numerous occasions, though she was never quite sure of what there was between them. She blamed it mostly on their age, but the two were also good friends, and that was one friendship she didn't want to jeopardize.
With her smile turning more friendly, Raine's gaze met his. "So how have you been sweetheart?" She asked him as she leaned back in her chair. "It's been awhile since I have actually gotten to talk to you.. alone." She said with a little hinting in the phrase. She couldn't help but flirt with him most of the time. [/blockquote]

Ryan chuckled slightly, walking behind the bar again as she walked up and took a seat. "I've been good. Busy, but good." He said pulling out a couple of glasses. "So what'll it be hun?" he asked, catching her hint about being alone and smirked to himself. He wasn't sure if it was safe since he hadn't exactly eaten yet... Ah well, as long as he didn't kill her, he supposed they'd be alright.
"So what about you sweetness? Hm? Do anything exciting lately?" He asked, leaning against the counter and waiting for her to order a drink.

Crossing her legs, Raine rested one elbow on the counter. She knew it was early, and probably not the best idea to be drinking, but at the moment she didn't care, she just wanted to have some fun. "How about a shot of Vodka." She said simply, wondering how well she was going to be able to hold her liquor. She knew Ryan wouldn't let her get to bad off, or at least if she did that he would take care of her. Ryan may come off as a bad ass to most people, but he had always been rather sweet to her.
When he asked how she had been, she shrugged slightly. "I guess I have been pretty good. Life's been pretty boring down at the castle though. I need to sneak up here more often." She said playfully, although she meant it. Raine never seemed to be happy unless she was breaking the rules. "But as to doing anything exciting, I can't say I have." She said putting on a fake pout. Ryan nodded and poured her a shot of vodka. Handing her the glass him smiled a bit. "There ya go little missy." he said with a bit of a lop-sided grin.
When she mentioned about needing to come around more often and make things more exciting, he smirked slightly and leaned over the counter. "I'm sure we can think of something." his voice carrying over the quiet room like silk. He loved to flirt, and loved it even more when the girls flirted back.

Raine grinned back at him as she took the shot glass. Sitting it on the counter, she slowly rain a finger around the rim of the glass as she watched him. She wondered if in the back of her mind, this was her reason for insomnia. Because every time she couldn't sleep, she found herself here. Personally, who would want to sleep when they knew someone like Ryan was up and ready for a visit.
When he leaned towards her, and said I'm sure we can think of something, Raine felt goosebumps raise up on her skin. "I knew I could count on you." She whispered softly, leaning up to his ear. Pulling away, she downed her shot, putting her glass back on the counter and licking her lips as she felt the burn from the vodka run down her throat. [/blockquote]

Ryan smirked ever so slightly. "You know you can always count on me for excitment baby girl." He said grabbing himself a glass and pouring a glass of rum. Being a vampire had it's advantages. He could drink as much as he wanted and rarely feel the side effects. Taking her empty glass he poured her another one. "So Miss Raine, what brings you out to my bar this time of night on a weekday anyways?" He asked downing his rum and pouring another.

Nodding in thanks for her second shot, Raine watched him pour himself a glass of Rum. Sometimes she envied the way he never seemed to get buzzed, let alone tipsy, and when she remembered why she couldn't help but smirk. She didn't know many Vampires, but she had always found herself drawn to them, and the mysteries they kept. It was so forbidden, yet so tempting.
Snapping back into reality she tilted her head in thought. "A bad case of insomnia." She said truthfully, deciding to wait to take her next shot. "I haven't got a wink of sleep all night, and I know I won't get any before classes tomorrow anyways. I figured I could come up here and enjoy some company from a friend that I knew would be up." She said sweetly. "Plus, nothing gets me more energized than the adrenaline rush of sneaking off school grounds." [/blockquote]

Ryan nodded and chuckled when she mentioned insomnia. He was familiar with it since it was because of his insomnia that he'd gotten turned in the first place. He shook his head slightly to clear the memory and smiled slightly. "You're very thoughtful, though how do you know I wont go mad to the illness?" He asked with a bit of a smirk. He knew she knew. He hadn't needed to tell her, she just seemed to know. He raised his eyebrow slightly at her last comment. "Nothing?" A sly smirk crept across his face.

When Ryan mentioned about being a vampire, Raine put on an devilish smirk. "I trust you, and for as long as I have known you you haven't done anything to make me feel otherwise." She said as her eyes stayed on his. If anything, he had proven to her that he wouldn't hurt her.
When Ryan got that look on his face, Raine knew exactly what was going on inside that mind of his. When she heard his question her by saying Nothing?, she tried to keep a straight face. "Well, maybe I lied." She said biting her bottom lip. [/blockquote]

Ryan poured himself another glass and shot it back. "Hm. Trust me eh? I don't know if thats a wise idea, but its your decision." He mused, seemingly glidding around the counter so he was beside her. "And who knows. Maybe one day I'll lose it." He continued, taking a seat and leaning against the counter.
He chuckled slightly. "Lying isn't very good. Especially lying to your friends Miss Raine." he said wiggling his finger at her. "Tis very, very bad and you should be punished." He said, grabbing his rum and taking a swig from the bottle since really no one else was around to complain.

The way Ryan was talking made Raine give him a confused look, but it was gone as soon as it appeared. Raine did trust him, beyond her better judgment she did. He was a great friend, and it was obvious to everyone that there could be something more. She had to keep that outlook on it too, because if for even an instant she didn't trust him then their whole friendship could crumble. "Well, lucky for me it is my decision." She said simply.
Spinning in her chair, she turned to look at him. Laughing lightly with him, she put on a fake innocent look. "I guess I have been a bad girl." She said batting her eyelashes as a slight smile appeared on her face. Watching him take a drink of the Rum, Raine looked down at her shot then downed it. She was already starting to feel a little better. [/blockquote]

Ryan smirked faintly and reached over, brushing a strand of hair from Raine's face and letting his fingers brush over her cheeks lightly. "Well, I'm sure we can find a way to rectify this problem." He said, the smirk playing on the corners of his mouth taking another swig from the rum bottle.
